My journey into Astrology

My earliest memories of astrology were linked to crystal bowls, magazine horoscopes, esoteric predictions, Nostradamus... and a similar array of topics often labeled as “not serious” or “not scientific.”

Many years ago, someone suggested I get a reading of my birth chart. At the time, I had no idea what that even meant. My naturally curious mind filed away the suggestion, even as my skeptical side shrugged it off with a “yeah, sure, whatever.”

A few years later, I met a friend in Barcelona who was studying astrology. That long-ago suggestion resurfaced, and I asked her for a reading. She redirected me to her teacher, Robert Martínez (Cosmograma). I booked a session with Robert, and it turned out to be a profoundly eye-opening experience.

Here was someone who didn’t know me at all, yet his words resonated deeply. He articulated emotions, sensations, and traits of my personality in a way that gave me profound insights into my own reactions and inner drives. It felt like he was simultaneously reading my mind and heart, peeling back layers of my inner self. That moment left me so amazed that I decided, then and there, to study astrology myself.

I spent three years immersed in study at Cosmograma, with Robert as one of my teachers. Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my knowledge through several master's degrees, guided by Silvia Neira, Lucía Caprarulo, and Virginia Blanes.

Why Astrology?

The most important relationship in our lives is the one we have with ourselves. Think about it, can we have a deep, nourishing, and fulfilling relationship with someone we barely know? Not really, right? If we do not truly understand who we are, it becomes difficult to establish a loving, respectful, and committed relationship with ourselves. As a result, the external relationships we form with others will often be projections of our internal needs. Moreover, without self-awareness, it becomes challenging to guide our lives in the direction we truly desire, instead of simply following the path we have been conditioned to take.

On my own journey of self-discovery, astrology has proven to be one of the most powerful tools I have encountered. It has helped me not only gain a deeper understanding of myself, but also realize that every individual has a unique cosmic blueprint with a specific purpose. From this perspective, the desire to change others fades, replaced by a deeper understanding and acceptance of both our inner and outer experiences.
